Proving Ring is a device that used to measure force by tension or compression. In this device an elastic ring with known diameter consist a dial gauge holder or Stander located inside. It comes in many sizes made with Stainless steel. Proving Rings designed for compression and tension calibration designed as per ASTM E74 standards.

You get set screws for clamping the ring body with U-brackets. The provided indicator has the capability to provide a sensitivity of 0.002mm/div. Please note that the indicator’s deflection is directly proportionate to the applied load.
