Length Comparator is a device that use to determine length changes of cement paste, mortar, and concrete. By determining the initial shrinkage stage, drying shrinkage, moisture movement of concrete, alkali reactivity of aggregate and drying shrinkage of Portland pozzolana cement. Apparatus consists an adjustable length comparator by using a screw or dial micrometer together with double reference bar and bar stand on base with a ball on middle.
